Family Fun at the Lake

Today my husband got off work extra early so that we could spend one last day at the lake with the kids. It closes on Labor Day. Since it was 1:00 in the afternoon when we got there, all the other kids were still in school. That meant we had the entire swimming area to ourselves. That's just one of the many perks of home schooling. We did your schooling in the morning and were finished by 12:00. It was nice and relaxing. The kids had a great time and so did we. We worked on their swimming techniques, played in the sand and made beautiful memories. It was like having our own lake in our backyard and my husband got to enjoy some family time with us. We stayed until almost 5:00 It was a good day :)
