We spent a large amount of the day outside today. While walking back up the driveway I discovered a bunch of Blackberry vines! We've only lived here a short while so I didn't know we had them. I was very excited.
I haven't tasted wild Blackberries since I was a child. Jared and I started picking them so we could share them with the rest of the family.
This was Jared's first time tasting a red one ;)

They are very tart until the ripen. So I see lots and lots of Blackberry jelly in our future :)
